Graphic designers need to keep up with all trends - especially social media trends. Snapchat allows the public to submit work, so I thought up three different designs in places that were of importance to me. Las Vegas is where I hope to live one day, Greer’s Ferry Lake is where I grew up, and Oxnard, California houses one of the beaches I frequented when I visited family there. I hand-rendered each pun and created a small illustration to go with it. Locations are placed underneath in simple typefaces. The results are three geofilters that not only highlight my lettering skills, but also speak to my background and who I am as a person.
